If you’d ever driven one, you’d know that none of these points are valid.

The Tesla I currently drive contains less Cobalt than the Diesel I owned before.

The range is similar to most gas cars and the car usually has enough range to go on, once I grabbed a coffee, when supercharging.

In every aspect besides refueling time, it is far superior to any other car I’ve driven.

I wouldn’t go back, ever.

Mine charges purely on renewable energy, but even if charged with 100% coal it’s still cleaner than any gas car, because it’s 4x more efficient.

Also most coal plants are more efficient and cleaner, than the average engine.

more arguments agaist it: lithium mining in south america destroys countries will not be tolerated for very long. not sustainable

mathematically it is not possible to replace even a fraction of fuel driven cars. therefore it is clear what those criminal corparations (owning many governments which are also corporations): to end all cars. electric cars will tell you where you can go and where you cannot go.

charging would be too inconvenient for me. i never wait for anything.

coal is clean, i agree. oil can be made clean too and oil is abundant.

the ceo of the largest automaker in your country said recently that the gas driven car is the future.

people will wake up and free themselves from the tyranny

I bet with you that in a decade you will wonder, how you could ever have not driven a Tesla.

The points you bring up are just cheap fossil fuel industry propaganda.

Lithium is one of the most common elements on the planet. And Tesla is right now building mines and refineries for it in the US.

And I don‘t know which mathematical formula would prevent you from replacing all gas cars, since electric requires less resources.

As for the waiting, I have often waited at Fuel Stations in the holiday season, so far nothing like it with Superchargers.

And coming home, plugging in and having a full car in the morning is much more convenient than having to go a couple of extra miles to the next fuel station in rush hour traffic as I used to.

As I already told you, the current gen of Tesla uses less Cobalt than a normal gearbox on an ice car.

The next gen will use none.

As for lithium, it’s the 3rd most common element in the universe and the 25th most common in the upper earth crust.

And the abiotic generation of oil was disproven by chemists long AFTER Rockefeller died.

I wouldn’t say he’s full of bullshit. It’s hard in these propaganda laden times to separate fact from fiction.

I’m pretty sure I have similar blindspots were I am either blindly against or for the current narrative.

But since I both drive a Tesla and earn my Fiat mining as a technical sales guy in the auto industry, I have enough knowledge of this area to know exactly that Tesla is a real disruption and not a scam.

I mean that’s why they fight Tesla so hard.

The guys in power wanted BMWi3 compliance cars forever and then this Musk guy came along and actually built electric cars that are better than the old thing.
