I didn't want to do this but since Nostr sucks with Spam and nothing is changing on the relay side, we are going WoT only. This will allow for more messages to get through the relay versus the previous anti-spam measures.

It’s the free relays that are the problem. The administrators of these free services often have a socialist or collectivist mindset. They’re the ones who’ve contributed to the decline of the internet.
They create websites and offer free services because they believe no one would pay for them, and they think growth is impossible unless the service is free.
They spend countless hours trying to make their websites popular and profitable, aspiring to emulate big tech companies. But those companies are funded by globalist bankers to spy on us and spread propaganda.
In the end, these free service providers burn themselves out, working tirelessly on websites that never turn a profit.
Take Nostr . band, for example. Their terms of service say they keep the relay free because they haven’t figured out how to make it profitable yet, and until they do, it’ll stay free.
But Nostr . band is overwhelmed with spam.
If I ever created a great website, I would refuse to offer free services. I would make people pay for quality.
This socialist "free service" mentality is part of what’s ruining the internet. So to everyone providing free services: you’re part of the problem.
I have a small relay, and I won’t open it to the public unless they pay.

mastodon sucks.. It's not thriving at all. It was thriving at the beginning because they tried to claim it was decentralized but it wasn't. It's been dying over the years with instance administrators giving up.

Running a node is different then running a relay. Running a full node helps the Bitcoin eco-system and contributes to the security of Bitcoin.
Your just agreeing with him because your relay is free. I'm going to join your site and spy and investigate and write a review about it but I suspect there might be relay. Or I could be wrong as it doesn't seem it's it's a traditional relay like the one I'm running.

They are definitely very talented devs. I don't want to criticize them or their work.
I just want to point out the wrongs of mastodon. Mastodon was almost like forums where the administrator runs his own instance and has the power to ban the user.
Although you can import your mastodon profile to another instance. I can't see it working in the long run as mastodon administrator eventually give up as most realise they can't make money and running an instance is time consuming and not getting paid for it.
I'm not sure what the situation is but users need an easy way to run their own instance or somehow link their profile to an instance without being able to be banned. It's complicated but I think nostr is the solution but the relay software needs updating.

are you serious? mastodon is garbage. It's centralized and admins can ban you. I've joined some in the past and yes there is less spam because it's easier to remove but sometimes I see brusts of spam.
