Atlas Shrugged is worth reading for the full effect of a collapsing money / society. The Mandibles is fine - good even - but is rushed relative to Rand’s extensive detail.
Lionel, is a bit too pessimistic for me. Her solution is to die before before it hits the fan. Her ego gets in the way of opening her mind to a viable solution. I can’t spend any more time with that. I get the problem, I want to focus on the solution.

I really wanted to like it, but it was like reading a more boring version of Atlas Shrugged. Sorry Lionel.
