Very well then πΈ
Memories Dreams Reflections is written by Jung at a very old age. He goes about his life and work from his perspective. I'd start with this to get a picture of how Jung view the world.
- Archetypes and the Collective Unconscious
- Aion
Both are useful to understand Jung' reasoning and vocabulary.
Edward Edinger - Encounters with the Greater Personality. This book is written by a Jungian. One of the best I found by his followers.
The Origins and History of Consciousness by Erich Neumann. A must read, definitely don't skip this one.
You'll have to read Nietzsche first and, unfortunately, Freud too. This trio is key in understanding why Jung is superior.
Funny enough, our boy Jordan Peterson made me take a closer look at Jung.
Thanks much! Thats a lot. Sounds like first book should go on my list, and if it blows my mind then on to another.
Had no idea you skibidis read so much heady stuff
Thank God I didn't apply for the Beauty Arts School, am I right? π€

I felt a great disturbance in the force late 2019, early 2020. I couldn't explain it rationally so I got to dig into it like a maniac. I also wanted to test if knowledge can be passed through genes. π€
Lemme know next time you sense a disturbance.
Yes, but they've kicked me out of the illuminatee. I'm out of the loop now. No more notice about wars and pandemics beforehand for this handsome frog. βπ»πΈ

Maybe they'll let you back soon
No, I'm done with that chapter. I build bridges but I also burn them down. I like to keep an eye on entropy in this life.

Yeah Peterson inspired a lot of my curiosity. Unfortunately I can't stand listening to him anymore. He's... very emphatic in his wrongness.

Jung owes his sanity to Nietzsche going mad while documenting it and his best decision was to part ways from Freud quite early in his life.

He maintained his composure after his dark night of the soul. He died of old age not by cocaine or locked in a nut house. No disrespect for the other two, both are decent occupations. He opened a new field. He trained a bunch of people, good and bad. List goes on.
To be clear, only among the three of them. I have my beef with Jung on other matters.
So he stayed relatively sane. Is that the measure of better?
Yes.
You think Nietzsche is better?
Can't compare - Nietzsche wrote for a different purpose
Of course. It's that bitcoiners have a soft spot for Nietzsche.
I'm one of them... But a large part of the soft spot is just that people have strong opinions and are wrong. I found wrong people on the internet, REEEE!!! Literally me.
I like Nietzsche like a brother. He had a difficult life and ge wrote his best works during the time with the most rains in the past 200y. He parted ways with his best friend Wagner and ladies cheated on him heavily. Even his sister wronged him. I'm amazed he kept going for that long.
π€ I wonder if the wamens objected to his enormous face bush
Germans have their niche porn business for a long time now. It was probably fancy at that time.
I haven't worn my leather jacket since bitcoin was discovered. Leather pants and vests are totally gay tho. Germans did good on this one. π€

Comparison feels unfair for them as individuals, Nietzche was more a philosopher and Jung was more a psychologist. Being a philosopher, Nietzche was less concerned about appearing sane. π
Rather than love, than money, than fame, give me truth.

I just feel icky when I read anything attributed to Freud. It fits with the leftist pedophile cult.
So emotional. Where is this coming from?π§
Let me guess, your mom?
