πŸ€” I wonder if its possible to be psychically linked to YouTube... I woke up thinking about Jungian archetypes ; looked at my phone, and it was on a video I was listening to when I fell asleep, backed out of that video and it refreshed the recommended list, and right at the top is an hour long lecture about Jungian archetypes, a recording from some university.

He hasn't addressed the thing I was thinking about, though... Can airplanes be populated by archetypal simulants and how could I systematize their attritubes to reduce them to a set of archetypal ingredients and why would there be different sets of collective unconscious experiences to generate a different "deck of cards"... But still, the way YouTube gave me a video about what I was thinking was really... Impressive.

Phones admitting waves ai is measuring those waves & sharing it's data. Those waves radiate your brain like an x-ray. Ever hear that silent whisper ringing noise randomly?

A high pitch noise? πŸ‘€

No... I've had the fantom vibration in my pocket, though. That's part of why I no longer carry my phone with me.

Phantom *

Something like this but much higher & softer.

I can barely hear that over my tinnitus

It depends on how you use youtube. Are you using the app or just a browser? Are you logged in or do you delete cooking trackers each time and go as anon as you can?

The algos are really impressive if you feed them data, your data. Sadly in this version of the Earth, data mining will always lead to totalitarism.

On that phone, I have the app and its logged in.

Yeah, it's understandable in this case.

The scary thing is AI might be forming more psychic links than humans these days, and we don't know if AI even has a soul in charge at the other end of those links

Eventually, AI will build a soul. I'm of the opinion that humans must consciously build souls - I see a difference between soul and spirit, and we're born with inherent spirit, but souls are an ark that must be built.

Sounds like synchronicity which supposedly happens more often if you’re β€œon the right path”. I’ve had many crazy moments like that.

Oh man I hope so... I've definitely been on the wrong path for long enough

It’s been on and off with me and I really took it to heart haha

What do you mean by "deck of cards?" Is that a normal term I'm u aware of?

Like the tarot - the trumps are archetypes on the universal hero's journey. I'm postulating that different set experiences conform to different archetypal ingredients, which you could hypothetically organize into a new tarot.

I see... sort of. Not versed in these things. Thanks

I'm a novice at it. Building the vocabulary has been a long project

I tried reading the red book (Jung one, in case that's ambiguous lol) a while back. Didn't make it far even though was digging what I thought he might be saying.

Yeah, that would probably require a written plan to tackle... For me, at least. I listen to readings of books, but I get distinctly less out of Jung and Nietzsche, despite loving their work.

Yeah, definitely build a plan before getting into Jung. There are a few books you have to read before getting into The Red Book, otherwise it's all poppycock. If you're really interested, I'll dig into my notes and tell you how I did it.

Heck yeah I'm interested

Very well then 🐸

Memories Dreams Reflections is written by Jung at a very old age. He goes about his life and work from his perspective. I'd start with this to get a picture of how Jung view the world.

- Archetypes and the Collective Unconscious

- Aion

Both are useful to understand Jung' reasoning and vocabulary.

Edward Edinger - Encounters with the Greater Personality. This book is written by a Jungian. One of the best I found by his followers.

The Origins and History of Consciousness by Erich Neumann. A must read, definitely don't skip this one.

You'll have to read Nietzsche first and, unfortunately, Freud too. This trio is key in understanding why Jung is superior.

Funny enough, our boy Jordan Peterson made me take a closer look at Jung.

Thanks much! Thats a lot. Sounds like first book should go on my list, and if it blows my mind then on to another.

Had no idea you skibidis read so much heady stuff

Thank God I didn't apply for the Beauty Arts School, am I right? 🀭

I felt a great disturbance in the force late 2019, early 2020. I couldn't explain it rationally so I got to dig into it like a maniac. I also wanted to test if knowledge can be passed through genes. 🀭

Lemme know next time you sense a disturbance.

Yes, but they've kicked me out of the illuminatee. I'm out of the loop now. No more notice about wars and pandemics beforehand for this handsome frog. ☝🏻🐸

FeelsBadMan

Maybe they'll let you back soon

No, I'm done with that chapter. I build bridges but I also burn them down. I like to keep an eye on entropy in this life.

That's quite the unexpected sentence πŸ˜‚

Yeah Peterson inspired a lot of my curiosity. Unfortunately I can't stand listening to him anymore. He's... very emphatic in his wrongness.

Jung owes his sanity to Nietzsche going mad while documenting it and his best decision was to part ways from Freud quite early in his life.

What made Jung superior?

He maintained his composure after his dark night of the soul. He died of old age not by cocaine or locked in a nut house. No disrespect for the other two, both are decent occupations. He opened a new field. He trained a bunch of people, good and bad. List goes on.

To be clear, only among the three of them. I have my beef with Jung on other matters.

So he stayed relatively sane. Is that the measure of better?

Yes.

You think Nietzsche is better?

Can't compare - Nietzsche wrote for a different purpose

Of course. It's that bitcoiners have a soft spot for Nietzsche.

I'm one of them... But a large part of the soft spot is just that people have strong opinions and are wrong. I found wrong people on the internet, REEEE!!! Literally me.

I like Nietzsche like a brother. He had a difficult life and ge wrote his best works during the time with the most rains in the past 200y. He parted ways with his best friend Wagner and ladies cheated on him heavily. Even his sister wronged him. I'm amazed he kept going for that long.

πŸ€” I wonder if the wamens objected to his enormous face bush

Germans have their niche porn business for a long time now. It was probably fancy at that time.

Germans ruined leather

I haven't worn my leather jacket since bitcoin was discovered. Leather pants and vests are totally gay tho. Germans did good on this one. 🀭

Comparison feels unfair for them as individuals, Nietzche was more a philosopher and Jung was more a psychologist. Being a philosopher, Nietzche was less concerned about appearing sane. πŸ˜„

Rather than love, than money, than fame, give me truth.

I just feel icky when I read anything attributed to Freud. It fits with the leftist pedophile cult.

So emotional. Where is this coming from?🧐

Let me guess, your mom?

No, your mom

What did she do to you?

+1 Almost tagged you into thread earlier as this is definitely Thursday territory, but saw you had already replied lol

And as for red book, definitely strange experience. Almost felt a bit high the times it was seemingly making sense, but couldn't even really tell you what I'd read

There is also an unfinished Black Book by Jung. Check the videos of him on youtube. They provide value in composing a mental models of him.

Poppycock?

empty talk or writing

Or your mom!

Show me a sane man and I will cure him for you.

You mean your mom will?

Yes.

Got this type of situation yesterday.
