Curious why WoT scores keep changing on Coracle? Everything was between 0-35 when I first tried it and now it’s more like between 70-135.

Browsing global with WoT scores is something I can’t go back from.

WoT changes depending on how many profiles you follow, how many profiles other people follow, and how complete your cache of those profiles is. It's also a completely subjective number, so it can't really be shared.

I love it so much. This is the kind of relative WoT score I was imagining.

Does it make sense to do away with the number in that case, and instead use a ranking, or some other mechanism to show a grade?

For instance npubA is #1 in your personal WOT, npubB is #21 in your WOT etc.

Or perhaps top 1%, top 10% etc

Maybe, but it's hard to say whether that would be better, so I've opted for showing the number itself. It's certainly more interesting than a normalized alternative. It also seems like less of a popularity contest.

Curious to know what Coracle users think.

Are you able to ask an open ended question from the nostr:npub13myx4j0pp9uenpjjq68wdvqzywuwxfj64welu28mdvaku222mjtqzqv3qk npub so we might learn more about the user’s perception?

For instance,

“What do yall think of Coracle’s web of trust feature?”

Nah, busy with other things right now. Others will invent new solutions and the design best practices will evolve. Someday we'll have wot listed as a best practice on nostrdesign.org.

I like the way Coracle has it implemented

Me too. Great first draft
