Met an uber dude on the way from the airport the other night. Told me how the markets are about to crash. I listened, gave him my #moonboi talking points, he was a total mid curve about it tho.

Then he asked me my age, told me “well I’m 59 and I’ve seen everything” and then proceeded to tell me how someone told him to buy bitcoin at 900$ and he didn’t listen then, and he wasn’t gonna listen to me now either because “it’s going to crash.”

And that’s why I was riding in the uber and he was driving it.

People thought I was crazy to double-down, at like $16k in 2023, and I spent over a year trying to convince everyone around me that it wasn't a crazy idea and they should definitely do the same, and then it shot over $100k and I shut up and started hoping that they'll all forget I ever mentioned it.

If they bring it up, just tell them you sold it all at 100k and went on some vacation or paid cash for something you actually financed. And then they can make fun of you for being stupid when it’s at 1million and they’re still poor too.
