Yeah genuinely had such a great time. It’s an amazing place with so much to see and do. I wasn’t nearly as bullish after a short stay in Sofia last year but after getting off the beaten path and seeing more of the country I will absolutely be back just to vacation and work remote. WiFi is great, people are friendly, weather is great (a little hot at times) but tons of history and the costs are significantly lower than Western Europe or Costa Rica / other bitcoin hubs in latam
wow so Costa Rica is more expensive compared to Bulgaria? I did not expect that. But yeah compared to Western Europe it is cheaper although prices at restaurants are as if you are in Italy lol
Yeah Costa Rica definitely more expensive than Bulgaria. Maybe El Salvador is slightly cheaper in certain places but not by much. And the infrastructure here in Bulgaria is so much better. Bullish on Bulgaria
Can confirm CR prices on par or higher compared to the US. Not a budget travel destination for sure.
I wouldn’t say higher than US, definitely CR is cheaper than Seattle/other major cities. But it’s by far the most expensive place to travel in LATAM
Yeah definitely depends n which areas you are specifically comparing, but it’s expensive by my standards! Definitely far more than nearly any other country I have traveled in outside of EU or US- and well above the rest of LATAM for sure.
