64 million views on Tucker Carlsons first episode. Damn. How many views do the corporate media generate?

This cancellation blew up in their faces. πŸ˜…πŸ˜†

While it's doing undeniably impressive numbers, I do wonder how many of those 64 million views were actually watchers, and not just people scrolling through their feed and catching 3 seconds on autoplay.

I'd bet the actual viewership is closer to 5-10 million, which is still really impressive.

This is the metric they say they go by:

Video views: A "video view" is when your video is watched in 50% view for 2 seconds or more, or when someone clicks to expand/unmute your video.

Viewership might be inflated but that makes it all the more fun for the legacy media to react to.

He is so spicy 🌢️. I love it ! πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†

He'll be as big as Rogan

Who knows if those views are fake/bots? You don’t know except to trust Elon’s reporting.

What if he posted that on nostr and he got zaps instead of views, then you’d know the public’s response to it.

Zaps a fraction of the hardest money ever created, much more expensive to fake.

Pretty sure every person who scrolls past is counted as a view with auto play.

Clearly it’s still much better reach than cable TV as it is at least reaching eyeballs in the feed but I reckon those numbers are highly misleading in terms of how many actually viewed any decent portion of it.

Good point on the auto-play and the scroll.

You’re right, Cable TV and television in general have been horrible lately.
