I used to use discord a lot for gaming several years ago and had a lot of gaming buddies on it, but honestly have used it in any way worthwhile for years. I deleted it a while back.

Here is the thread. What I can only assume is the now deleted account reported me for harassment. The actual comment I made is now removed but I said something along the lines of "SVB and Silvergate are the biggest banks to fail since 2008. " in response to his "So what about some small regional banks"
I've asked for clarification on why I was banned several times and just been completely stonewalled by Reddit. No appeal accepted.
Permanently banned from ALL of Reddit. Not a particular sub, no time frame. Perma banned for life. I think it s a conspiracy to get people to stop talking about it to prevent contagion at the time the discussion was taking place. It's the only reasonable explanation.

This was like the day of next day after the bank failures. Who knows man. Wild for sure. I stopped trying to appeal after trying for a month. At one point I think I asked if they could show me the words I said to get banned and was met with something like, "we're not going to repeat it, you know what you did" kind of response. I wish the comment wasn't removed so I could prove it , but you can follow the thread, why would I say something wild and off topic? He made a comment about those banks being small regional ones and I swear my response was just something about them not being small and that they were actually the biggest failures since 2008. Boom. Perms banned from all of reddit.
Got banned for nothing. Reddit has lots of bots and doesn't need real people.
I enjoy some of the subs for entertainment value but the algo keeps throwing weird shit at me that I'm not interested.
And I swear all of the Xennials, Millennials, and 90s2000s nostalgia subs are just people that are depressed complaining about how their job sucks, their marriage sucks, or their life sucks. It's wild.

Yes, that's correct. Anyone can setup a Nostr address. You can do it yourself or you can use a service provider.
