lol I did enter but wrote like a normie. Ever since I heard Davinci wrote many of his journals backwards I started doing it. It’s. Lot of fun because when you ask people to hold it up to a mirror the look on their face is cool like wow it really looks right in a mirror

They should not stop teaching writing in school. Writing by hand is different brain than typing. Just very different brain.
Yes, the kiddo has been learning cursive and even has a kid's fountain pen. I prefer hand writing out my lists, it's so much more satisfying.
It’s spacial concepts instead of digital. Words rather than letters.

It's not only writing. I think it is better for the brain to just throw a ball at a wall and catching it than seeing the most complex topic being explained on a screen.

Personally, I'd cut it so fast in the name of making time for civics or anything that revolves around teaching more critical thinking and or problem solving. On the other hand, if I would had to either cut and writing or drag queen story hour, gender studies, or or any number of progressive things, I know what I do 😁
