How are you supposed to delete pods in #[0]?

Tap on the tiny little elipse then delete is the only way I can see how to. It’s terrible UX!

Let me swipe to delete, I don’t need to swipe between queue / episodes / shows, never use that functionality at all any way.

Thats that only way I know as well.

Bizarre, maybe they have a different workflow but playing and deleting are the two main actions I use in-app, playing is ok but deleting is unnecessarily difficult

My go to podcast app is still #podcastAddict while fountain is mainly used while driving. I agree with you about the UX. They definitely have a lot of work there. What is fascinating to me is how they are building V4V app especially the splits.

Yeah it's a pain. Oscar Merry, one of the small team of developers, is on Nostr I think, maybe send him a note. Swipe to delete makes shitloads of sense.

You mean delete from library or delete download? You can delete downloads by tapping the green arrow and delete from library by tapping the trash can.

I mean getting to these delete options via the little elipse. My feed adds 10+ pods per day, I want to delete things I don’t need to download / want to listen to.

It's still two clicks, but you can delete those by selecting the episode and then tapping the trash can icon.

Does the long press work for you?

Or could disable the tab swiping and add swipe to delete. Might feel a bit weird tho

Wasn’t aware of the long press but yes that brings up the submenu for deleting and is better than using the elipse button!

Swipe to delete would be better simply because play/delete are the most common actions in app - putting in a submenu is extra steps
