GM Stu! Why do you have back pain ?
Discussion
I'm not sure exactly what has triggered this latest issue.
The cancer I had in 2018 spread to my spine and ilium, so it got pretty badly damaged including some large fractures.
The general trend is positive, but it's very up and down.
Sometimes I just overdo things on a good day, and pay for it later.
With your pain being associated with some physical damage here are a few things that have helped me with chronic and at times debilitating back pain.
1. Chiropractic care
2. Routine massages
3. Core strengthening
4. Ice (15m on / 15m off) (my ice pack is large but covers about 25% of my back so. I start low or high and work my way the other direction, takes 45-60m total then usually benefits from refreezing ice pack)
👆by far ice is the #1 thing that help acute pain and the chronic
5. Cbd topical, I use Papa and Barkley products
6. CBD oral tincture (if it’s really bad pain and/or spasming)
Thank you.
I'm definitely doing 2 and 3 on a regular basis.
I'm hoping this is just a short-term flare up. I've had quite a lot of stress the last couple of months especially, and sometimes just sitting or standing awkwardly for a length of time can trigger it.
My overall health trend is up over the long term.
I saw a family photo from a couple of years ago, and I was still walking with a stick. It's good to be reminded of how much progress I have made, even if it's taking years.
I can relate.
My sister’s wedding photo I have a cane.
Long story short I was diagnosed ( it have since been healed praise God!) from ankylosing spondylitis (basically a natural fusing of the spine and hips).
Pay attention to #3 ice! Honestly that helps all my flare ups more than anything. It’s not a 100% solution 100% of the time… but it is certainly is asymmetry to the up side compared to just other forms of relief
@stu #thanks for the #zap
