Deleted my Twitter account today.

Honestly, after Elon bought it I started noticing more and more provocative content that I hadn't subscribed to and somehow it made me spend more time scrolling. It all culminated with riots in France like wtf.. done

#nostr may be a smaller space than Twitter but it is a crystal clear space. As of today I am only on Nostr and have no other social media account. Join me and experience the peace of mind. #twitterisdying

Hey! It seems like you haven't set up a lightning wallet and connected it to your nostr account.

Check out Wallet of Satoshi. You'll be able to get a lightning handle and add it to your Nostr account, then people will be able to zap you.

Working on it, actually! But, I would prefer to be self-custodial. So right now I am trying to work out the details to set up the full stack of bitcoind, LND and perhaps Monero. I do know that I can use the #Zeus app as my Lighting wallet, and I have yet to connect the dots between a home-hosted wallet that an app can connect to.

The idea is: Self-custodial + not relying on my phone. Like, in the event my internet connection cuts (which happens here in germany quite often when you travel) or my phone gets stolen, the coins can keep rolling :)

So that's where I am right now! ^^

Ya I hear u. I'd prefer if I could self custody a LN wallet myself, and I know how to and could, but setting that up and maintaining it is such a hassle that I just gave up on that idea.

For now, I just use a custodial one, and when the amount on is warrents a swap to onchain, I'll go ahead and do that.

Hopefully in the future LN wouldn't be such a hassle.
