where do we draw the line on what should and should not be a nip? when should something just be app specific

A nip is just a way for multiple implementations building stuff on nostr to coordinate. Zaps for example are just data that are app specific, I don’t see why medical records are any different.

I think a lot can be built without a NIP. I am trying to build this and I don’t think I need any app specific NIP

Perhaps we need a more systematic way to assign ‘kind’ IDs tho?

Would be nice if we can get push notification from relays tho. But that is not app specific
