Used for a variety of things like achievements or recognition of contributions. Can also be used as a token to gate access.

Where do you see these badges?
Right now they show up in snort (I believe) and on badges.page. Maybe amethyst too? I dunno, saw another client implement it but I’m not familiar with the client.
It’s up to developers to integrate them into their clients. So if you want to see them but don’t, can ask devs :)
I'm on amethyst 0.23.1 and don't see any. Probably cuz I haven't earned one yet 😊 I'll check out badges.page
