Sometimes to get an emphasis on a point it can help to be black & white or all-or-nothing as an approach.
With the understanding from others that it is to make such a point. If that is missed some feathers can get ruffled.

Honestly, I’m not sure it’s ever particularly useful to advance understanding. Is there, perhaps, an example you could give that would demonstrate the utility of black and white thinking as a good thing?
All cryptos not Bitcoin are 💩coins.
The point is to say that if you are getting into the space you should first be focusing on Bitcoin only because so many scams are out there and Bitcoin is what will survive, thrive, and fuel the future with hope.
However that is disingenuous to other projects out there in the crypto realm that may in fact be useful and sound in principle. I have not studied all 100,000+ projects to know that a project is or isn’t a 💩coin.
By being back and white I can assert that stand with Bitcoin and caution others from all else.
