My wife asked "why don't we have that"
I said "b/c the government hates you"
But really, need a better answer because "gov't hates you" does not land with average people
From least to most controversial:
• Can't support endless social programs if taxes are cut
• The more taxes you pay, the less freedom (money) you have to go against the government
• Existing US population being replaced by new immigrants, so they do not want to encourage us to have more babies
