Allergys? Privacy now that its "normal"? not wanting to pass on a cold? Could be lots of reasons
airborne transmission outdoors is essentially impossible.
surgical masks don't stop allergens from getting into your airways (a properly fitted N95 would though, granted. but he's not wearing that).

My hunch though: virtue signalling.
Really though, I don't give a shit why somebody wears a mask outside nowadays. As long as it's not a mandate, it's not my problem.
As Snowden pointed out . . . Leave the phone behind, wear mask and sunglasses, and you digitally disappear from online trackers and from facial recognition.
So bless them for normalizing mask wearing. 😂 It's as if God inspired the adversary to create mask mandates so masks could be used against their facial recognition tyranny.

But they aren't only tracking faces now.
They are working in behavioral recognition for sure. This is one reason why it's so important to prevent data collection on you.
They already have body tracking. It's REALLY hard to mask your bone structure and how you walk.

I've seen some people on here say they were happy with it coming back and staying as it's helpful for anti government surveillance. The CCTV cams have a hard time identifying you when you walk into a store with a mask, hat and sunglasses and people are less likely to ask questions when there is a gLoBaL pAnDeMiC happening.
