There is an Umbrel plugin underway to so can be used with own node.

There is possibly a way, but I've not looked into it.

Alby can certainly be used with your own node, but I've not seen an option on Nostr Wallet Connect where you can select a source wallet / Alby account.

The extension can be connected to any node backend.

The hosted Nostr Wallet Connect works with the Alby account only.

But as you say we work on allowing self-hosting and connecting it to any node.
