Something convinced us that it was God's garden and we were cast out. I believe instead that we were gardeners, and we were tricked into outsourcing that responsibility. I think the problem is global not just the US.

I think nurturing food forests and other beneficial environments where we cohabitate with nature in balance is what we are supposed to be doing.

Gardening is a great workout and soil has microbes which act as antidepressants on par with most SSRIs I think it would go far in healing our health to restart a national hobby of gardening 💖

Absolutely, 100% agree. The earth is not suffering from too many humans - its suffering from the loss of its partner, human beings tending the land. Our efforts are rewarded disproportionately when working with the land.
