- 1 in 10 people in the US are on an SSRI drug (antidepressants)

- 40% of all Americans get cancer in their lifetime

- 1 in 36 kids are diagnosed as autistic

- 41.9% of Americans are obese

- 90k new Parkinson's cases per year

- 41 million Americans have diabetes.

Obviously something is trying everything to destroy Americans. Is it a different nation state? Is it Satan? Is it the deep state?

Regardless of the answer, I can say two things I know to be true :

1. The world God made is a place of desperation and suffering. All living things are a hair's breadth away from starvation, and they are driven by desperation to tear other living things to pieces and eat them.

2. If being a human being means anything, it means being **_humane_** - choosing hope despite the world, love despite never ending loss, and giving despite lack.

Orient towards greater meaning by building something greater than yourself. The answers are within you, not outside of you, but you have to move them to the outside and create with purpose.

Something convinced us that it was God's garden and we were cast out. I believe instead that we were gardeners, and we were tricked into outsourcing that responsibility. I think the problem is global not just the US.

I think nurturing food forests and other beneficial environments where we cohabitate with nature in balance is what we are supposed to be doing.

Gardening is a great workout and soil has microbes which act as antidepressants on par with most SSRIs I think it would go far in healing our health to restart a national hobby of gardening 💖

Absolutely, 100% agree. The earth is not suffering from too many humans - its suffering from the loss of its partner, human beings tending the land. Our efforts are rewarded disproportionately when working with the land.

I disagree with point 1. God created absolute abundance. It is lower instincts that keeps most creatures - including most humans - on the razors edge of existence. If life were really a fight for limited resources we’d still be living in tribes hunting wild game. Life is an invitation to recognize the abundance God created and to mimic the act of creation by finding ways to harness and bring forth that abundance in service of each other in a way that respects first what God created.

I knew that point would get pushback. You're right, God also made this world abundant. And right again, scarcity mindset is us, not God. But I maintain my assertion that God created a cruel world because that's just what it is - look at nature, look even at Jesus' murder. Is there an instance if happiness anywhere on Earth that isn't paid for up front with an instance of suffering?

And you can say that pain and suffering are two different things, but that's only if you choose to make them different, and that mindset is entirely human. And you could say that the state of the world is because of our fall from grace, but I must disagree when comes to biology - our sin does not cause a praying mantis to rip the wings off of butterflies.

Christian theology still works. It just has to be shifted in perspective. What it absolutely must never be is untruthful or fanciful. "Logos" means logic, literally. Jesus said "I am the truth." Christianity cannot continue existing in these untrue, unbiblical, interpretive illusions. If the bible starts off on the first page with something that should raise serious questions about the moral character of God, then we can't hide from that. It must be handled **_in logos_** - logically. Logic is the path to truth. That is the most Christian thing that can be said. Logic is the path to truth. I know plenty of Christians will hem and haw about that, and some would construct some fanciful thing about Logos meaning something else - those are pied pipers.

Sometimes I think this is the hell realm but we have the opportunity to make heaven in the hell realm. If you aren’t friendly with life you’ll be living in hell. If you are friendly with life, it’ll be Heaven because God will support you. If you’re successful at transcending the world or the hell realms suffering by going within and healing your wounds you don’t have to come back aka be reincarnated. When you die if your vibration is high enough you’ll be able to go into the higher frequency realms and you won’t be sent back to the material realm to go within and heal. Just a theory.

I think its a good theory.

Early Christians definitely and provably believed in reincarnation in this world, not only in heaven. That's provable by the fact that emperor Justinian decreed that belief in reincarnation is illegal and punishable by death, and the reason he did that was to provide a pretext to kill his enemies in Italy, where that was a strong belief because most Christians there at that time followed the teachings of Origen.

Let’s not conflate the Bible with the Word of God. The Bible (important as it is) was written by men. The world I see and touch was written by God. That is Gods Word. Gnosis? Too many Christian’s discount the real Word of God in favor of out of context stories we tell ourselves to make sense out of the senseless. In the world I see, there is suffering in equal part to love and abundance. Yin and yang, summer and winter, birth and death. We are both subject and object in this story and we have some limited agency over the path of Gods Word. But I’ve lost track of where we started with my rambling. Vibrate higher if you can, friends.

Agreed! And relieved... I never know when someone will think the bible is literally the word of God and is thus inerrant. I do think there's merit in treating it as inerrant - considering the drift in meaning so far from all the editing, imagine if editing were even more acceptable. But the value of treating it as inerrant is not the same as actually being inerrant.

Rise above polarization, become an observer, not an absorber to raise your vibration. Evil is arguable depending on what side one’s on. How about, don’t choose a side, see it for what it is.
