absolutely not, and humans can survive on no food for about 3 weeks so there's that also

if you can't find a way out in 3 weeks then, well, i dunno, i guess it's just very fucking bad luck, cos in 3 weeks you can walk at least 300 miles even with zero food, and easily if you are a fatass

They were in very good shape, rugby players. They would've survived, even with bad weather, the first day.

Also I prefer to risk my feet walking in the snow rather than eating someone else's.

I don't think it's as simple as you say under those conditions but the option is there, I doubt they haven't discussed it

cannibalism is always wrong. period. feed the ones that fall to the dog, if it still is alive, but fuck that.

unless you are at sea and can't craft a way to catch fish, then maybe, maybe, you can eat the person who died of natural causes

in every other situation there is always a place to go, and things to eat in that place, eventually somewhere

In a mountain enviroment with snow there are no way to be alive 3 weeks with no food, with good luck and warm clothes you can live one week. Altitude and cold eat your body. I know that bc I spent more than 20 years doing alpinism in high and cold mountains.

if you can't get to lower ground yeah you are gonna be screwed but fuck sitting in a snow cave waiting to be eaten from drawing straws, i'd take my chances with falling off the side of a cliff over that any day
