Turns out the most #barefoot shoe you own is not always the best choice. Does #footstr accept battered feet?

Slipped on rocks fishing for the curious.

Front sole chaco turn in. Ouch.

Love these shamma sandals. I think I'll be wearing my fivefingers to fish tomorrow though.

Being able to go barefoot long term is something you earn, like any other level of fitness. Battered feet as a badge along the way.

Been wearing barefoot shoes over a decade. Only so much defense you can build up against kicking a boulder.

Sounds like you haven't been training your feet to the max, for instance, you could be INTENTIONALLY kicking boulders

Not the first time I've been told to go kick rocks and it won't be the last either I'm sure.

I was going to ask if you were dragging your toes on the concrete again? XD

added bonus if you are fishing in salt water πŸ«‚

Yep.

Footstr is not choosy

Dude i think you might have been better of straight barefoot.

Yeah this worked for me
