Just consider in the entire New Testament there is only one report of Jesus striking anyone. He worked with everyone but he beat bankers with a whip made of rope. Even a tax collector was taken on as an apostle but a banker, got a beat down.

Think of this when someone says WWJD

Brilliant.

Only, the temple should have an eagle somewhere.

He didn't work with everyone else. He baited and insulted the parisees(religous leaders) all the time. Called most of them out for being such hypocrites. Not much has changed.

Sorry to be *that* guy.

While I 100% agree with the conclusion that Jesus was certainly most pissed with the religious hypocrites and grifting bankers, Jesus is not recorded as actually hitting anyone.

Context matters here. The religious and financial grifters were occupying a portion of the temple reserved for G-d Himself (there is a lot more subtext here, too).
