I'm doing the Bank of Canada survey on CBDCs & it's disturbing, I'm over 60% done, but here's a few highlights 👇🏼

There's inherent bias in the questions, which may skew how people percieve other options like Bitcoin:

Also, the answers seem to imply they intend to impose limits for how much $ Canadians can hold or receive - they should be asking instead whether we should treat digital dollars like cash if they intend to replace cash

The consultation is overall childish, I hope there's an opportunity for more nuanced feedback on something this important! Thatvsaid, I'm glad there are some spots for more feedback - here's mine on if I think Canada can keep a secure CBDC

Just did the survey.

Told them to buy bitcoin instead of reinventing the wheel.

OR at least back the currency with something like gold or bitcoin.

Unreal. The status quo of power and coercion won't give it up with out a fight...

It could get ugly with psy ops, false flags etc.

Freeland and Trudeau have already provided a preview of where this is headed with debanking political opposition. Digital Moosebux will be a hard fork of the Digital Yuan:

Savings limits. Expiry dates. Geographic ring fencing. Personalized inflation and interest rates. Over your carbon allowance, bus tickets only. Sorry ma’am, too much beef for you this month, bugs only until next paycheque. Etc.

🇨🇦’s should really stop by the BoC museum in Ottawa.

Entry is free - which is a clue about what you will learn once inside.

I’m very curious if BoC paid for the Rai stone on display at the entry … or just stole it.

Showed this to some normie colleagues at work… they’d never heard of a CDBC before, but their lack of trust in the government and the central bank to manage security or respect their privacy leaves me some hope.
