Yeah, one and big unsolved problem for Nostr. How do we ensure that the core infrastructure is well funded and reliable 🐶🐾🤷♂️
Or at the very least a way to for clients to find new relays when one’s been unresponsive for a while.
The problem is paid relays. Do I continue paying for new ones? 🐶🐾🤷♂️
I felt the same way Uncle Fishcake when I saw relays that were previously working start erroring on me. I felt like soon it would be nothing but paid and a couple of overworked free ones. So I spun up my own on altruistic relay on a dedicated, as in it's the only thing it's doing, server as a contribution to Nostr.
