23 buckets

Each has 4 cuttings of red mulberry.

🤞hopefully in a few months I have a LOT of mulberry plants ready for transplanting.

Not super educated on the uses for mulberry. I’ll do a little internet research, but I’m mostly curious what you use it for?

I eat them. Tonight I went out to the bush that’s bearing ripe berries and picked a handful of them and ate them with the rest of my dinner. I would liken them to a blackberry but smaller and without the seeds.

Thanks for the info. I’m going to order some seeds, ten years to bear fruit! Do you prefer the white, red, or black variety?

I don’t have a preference. I’m just happy I had some growing here I could work with. Had a few berries tonight along with some yellow woodsorrel fruits. They have a sour tart lemony taste.

Can’t eat too many of the yellow woodsorrel fruits though. Too many can be toxic but they’re fine in moderation.

We have lots of blackberries, I’m looking for flavors to add to wine, the mulberry seems really interesting. Elderberry is another one I like, toxic unless heated, or like so many other things, enjoyed in moderation.
