A while back my heater core started leaking in my 98 Dodge Dakota. 🛻 I bypassed it as a quick fix.
Today I'm going to start the heater core replacement. I have to tear out my entire dash and possibly my steering column as well.
I'm not looking forward to this as it seems like it's going to be a nightmare.
Hopefully everything goes smoothly.

I found the Ford Taurus and Sable were slightly more difficult...
Steering wheel can sit on seat. Bolts on both sides of dash are slotted. Dash is heavy, takes a bit to unseat it. Careful with blend door connections, plastic can get quite brittle... Be patient, it's dooable...
