More like they are forming now some kind of standard of UI/UX for the protocol.
If people will get used to it, it will be hard for others to come to push some innovation/change of well known mechanics.

New entrants will have to come up with something different that the incumbents can’t build themselves.
Like Facebook who h basically stole all its features from new social platforms. They even copied the timeline from Twitter.
