Don’t call me dumb we are having a civil discussion.

More communities are hurt by governments than by adults using drugs. Enforcement of anti drug laws requires violent theft of people’s money within those same communities (taxes).

Drug prohibition is something you can't half ass, otherwise you get the worst if both worlds.

The biggest problem with drug prohibition imo is the "price support for organized crime" aspect.

Right. A lot of violence was avoided during Silk Road. People didn’t have to meet with a drug dealer in a sketchy location to buy marijuana, cocaine, etc.

You don’t have to use drugs, I don’t. But if someone wants to experiment with it, and they’re not hurting anyone else, then let them. Even if it turns out bad for them, that’s still their decision and they’ll live with the consequences.

The problem is that the majority of habitual drug users are not merely experimenting with altered states of consciousness, they are self medicating to avoid dealing with uncomfortable emotions.

I would also argue that these uncomfortable emotions are primarily a byproduct of our modern degenerate and pozzed antiwhite culture, at least in the USA.

That’s a part of it. I would say poverty through currency debasement is the biggest factor.

That's a materialistic conclusion.

If you've never watched the documentary "The economics of happiness" it's worthwhile.

Strong social ties and a sense of belonging are far more important to mental and spiritual well being than material standards of living.

Why would the USA have one of the most voracious appetites for drugs while simultaneously being the most wealthy countries in the world with one of the highest standards of living?

(prior to third world invasion of the last 50 years).
