A simple folder that works one handed is a great thing to have handy. This Kershaw has done many miles in my pocket.
that's a:

it's nice, simple, one-hand open.
But I like to keep this Gerber fixed blade nearby, too.

Hear good things about that brand. Was close to getting one of those or a benchmade. Your endorsement of this one will likely influence choice towards kershaw, when time to get one comes
I've carried both before. Weight, steel type, and operation matter way more than brand once you are looking at the brand names.
I couldn't tell you why I got a Kershaw over a benchmade when I got this one. I can say I was looking at those 2 because they run lighter than SOG and kabar which were my previous brands of folder.
The truth is, these break blade razors are the real rockstars of my knife collection. 1cm wide, weigh nothing, durable enough for pocket and toolbox carry, always sharp, far less exposed blade makes them safer to use. If you're mostly opening packaging this is totally the way to go.
Kershaw was the #1 I was looking at when I bought this one! not sure why I switched. you're making me second-guess it now lol
You can just buy more knives.
Knife brothers! Im getting this any day now.
Nice!
I'm looking for a small, traditionally-crafted dagger these days.
If I find a good one, the plan is to get nostr:npub1v0tfjv5ahr3c260jtzdk5w48krerrnkg8fmcnc5lpguk0qda04eqzm3m3e to make me a sheath.
Yeah think it was your post in the is yesterday that reminded me. Looked around a bit and decided couldn't go wrong with bills pick
always a good choice.
Im excited about it. Probably a slight waste of money as there isn't really a need for it, but the longer I hold off getting one, the less use I'll get out of it, so figured I'd pull trigger with a safe pick asap
Now I want a new knife 🔪 😂
New knife --> stab wife --> best life
