Pretty much everyone should have kids. With very rare exceptions

I disagree with this statement and agree with nostr:npub1hgvtv4zn2l8l3ef34n87r4sf5s00xq3lhgr3mvwt7kn8gjxpjprqc89jnv
I have seen many folks in the dog parent (to this degree) category and they are people who would be unable to put themselves and their wants aside to raise healthy, functioning children. I'd prefer they not taint the gene pool for my kid and any grandchildren I may have.
Opinions are like assholes and everyone has one, this is mine.
Also, I have a spoiled dog that I tell her she's mommy's girl. She's a great dog, but I wouldn't set up a custody agreement should my husband and I get divorced. Again , opinions and assholes...
I understand where you are coming from, but just because a child comes from dysfunctional parents does not mean they themselves will follow the same route and could potentially contribute greatly to society- like Salvador Dali and Ben Franklin. And a child from the best parents ever could become a monster like Jeffrey Epstein, and Ted Bundy.
I personally wouldn't want a child to start off with "bad" parents, but what defines bad and good is ambiguous and saying certain people shouldn't have children can become a dangerous argument. That's just my asshole. 😂
There’s nothing to disagree with. This is just the way things work.
It's the nature of reality.
💯
Some aren’t fit for it. Raising kids is a serious job.
99% of people should have kids
It definitely changes how you experience live and make decisions.
In the Netherlands we had a president who has no kids and clearly doesn’t care about the future. He lied, made idiotic decisions for years and degraded the country insanely. This dude now is the secretary general of the NATO. A very dangerous position for a lying piece of sh*t imo. I don’t trust him for anything he does.
If this guy would have had kids, I think he would have made other choices in life, for the better.
True, at least I would hope so. It's interesting to hear some people with kids talk about the world they are leaving to them. I've been planning to have kids for a very long time, and a huge reason I write books is so that my kids and descendants will know me and learn the hard won lessons I've sussed out over my decades of adventures. My wife and I are expecting our first baby this September.
Wow, congrats! That’s something to look out for. 🤩And great that you’re writing off the hard worn lessons 🔥
mission accomplished 💪🏽
When it's $20k per kid, only for married couples.
We're in to have 7.
The exception to the rule does not negate the rule.
having kids fixes you
True. Who wants to become Bill Mare, who is single and childless? No one in their right mind. It shows that he's single and childless in his immaturity, and he's made his audience his wife and kids presumably.
