One of the fun new features of Amethyst is saving all your relay lists in the private/encrypted part of the event. Only DM, inbox and outbox lists should be public. Everything else is private. Nobody needs to know which relays you are checking in on a daily basis. That includes search relays, private outbox, proxy, broadcasting, discovery, feeds, nip-29 groups, communities, hashtags, location feeds, etc. They are now all private.

But wouldn't that prevent other Nostr clients to sync with your relay list? Or is there a NIP for what you are doing?

It would not prevent other clients from reading those relays unless the encryption was non-standard, or was using a separate key to encrypt instead of your nsec.

However, not all clients will likely support encrypted relay lists, even though they could. This is similar to the situation with encrypted mute lists.

If something either has an official NIP or is defined as a custom NIP on nostrhub.io, one could vibecode something quickly using #MKStack on #Shakespeare (https://shakespeare.diy).

Looking forward to testing it 😊
