If we also increase the definition of seconds by a tiny bit, we’d also get rid of leap days. They occur because in fact a year is 365 days and 6 hours long, so every four years you missed a day to account for

leap days exist because Earths orbit period is not a multiple of planet rotation period

yeah give leap-day borns their own day too lol! :D but how would you bring this "little" amount of seconds, flawlessly in everyday? 24h + X seconds? is that a round number?

are we going with lunar, solar or lunisolar? how about leap seconds? add them at night or the pacific ocean time zones?
