I wish there was a 13 month calendar, no more DST + less work and more regeneration during winter season. @bitcoinwhales

The year used to have 13 months. It's been manipulated by the elite! Trust your instinct. If we create a PK community we will implemet again the 13 month year cycle ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ’œ

please lets do this! My new birthday is wednesday, 10th of August now ๐Ÿ˜

The number thirteen was systematically banished. Yet it is the magic number. 13 moons a year, the number of God, the number of femininity. The myth, that the number 13 brings misfortune has been forced over humanity, to weaken us!

Istanbul has fallen to the ottoman horde on Tuesday 13. Traditionaly we don't like it here ๐Ÿ˜€

I can understand that... But don't you think that was intentional, and that the date was deliberately chosen for the event? That would reinforce the belief that the number 13 brings misfortune.

13 is a fine number, we just don't like the date ๐Ÿ˜€ Tuesday 13. That is all, no big deal.

๐Ÿคฃ

It's the week starting on Monday that is throwing me off here.

AFAIK the whole American continent starts their week on Sunday, whereas the whole Eurasia and Oceania do so on Monday.

I am in Australia and my week always starts on a Sunday.

I have seen calendars both ways but I never trust the ones that start on a Monday. Feels off.

isn't it just a matter of perspective ๐Ÿ‘€? but just calling sunday the first day of the week seems chilll tho

Wouldn't that be nice? It should be simplified.

Or the similar calendar but with siestas and flexible work as a norm :D

that would be lots easier to bring in :D

Not going with the moon cycles seems wrong anyway

Yep. Free/flexible hours and siestas within naturally productive hours. Here we met :D

*naturally AWAKE hours

It would be fabulous and very regenerating. Great idea ๐Ÿซต

If we also increase the definition of seconds by a tiny bit, weโ€™d also get rid of leap days. They occur because in fact a year is 365 days and 6 hours long, so every four years you missed a day to account for

leap days exist because Earths orbit period is not a multiple of planet rotation period

yeah give leap-day borns their own day too lol! :D but how would you bring this "little" amount of seconds, flawlessly in everyday? 24h + X seconds? is that a round number?

are we going with lunar, solar or lunisolar? how about leap seconds? add them at night or the pacific ocean time zones?

#nostr can still implement it

My 14 moonth calendar is similar but i redefine the wheek to have 9 daeys. not metric. not religious. not triskaidekaphobic. just a nice pyramid of 9 wheek daeys repeated as 3 wheeks and one closing hi holey daey... the nodes of the mitsubishi logo helped to inspire me... 39 of these moonths... anyone can choose up, left, or right (a/b/c) 3-day wheekend for a work 6 on, plan 3 off for a 6/3 wheek or one can work 2 on, plan 1 off for a 2/1/2/1/2/1 wheek... NO ONE may work on hi holey daey (the 28th) under penalty of daeyth by my hand, but i'm a very busy procrastinator ๐Ÿ˜œ... leap years have 2 hi holey days... it's geometrical. it's regenerational. it's transitional. all hi holey days belong to the 14-day, 14th moonth. it makes sense wheen you see the graphical calendar as time is depicted as being circular/cyclical. the eye of time opens and closes for leap yhear

correction! 39 of these wheeks, not moonths... i use 0 as a 0/1 shift base for calculations... sort of like programmers usea zed-base list. the leap seconds/days can fall within zedro.
