I got two problems. A fungus and and a ladybug issue.

The fungus eats the older growth and the ladybugs are getting the new growth.

Quite used to the fungus, it's been a wet year. Normally the pumpkin will grown faster than the fungus, but the ladybugs are a new pest.

Still able to harvest a couple summer pumkins. Little worried about the fall pumkins

Little worried about the fall pumkins.I think the bugs are making crop circles in my squash.

Ugh. That’s frustrating. We tried pumpkins two years and got awful fungus both times and gave up. We’re not big into gardening, we just tried to grow some for the kids. But we struggled mightily.

Ladybugs are aphid eaters, a beneficial insect that you don't want to kill. not sure what's munching there, but a tablespoon of cayenne powder dissolved in a gallon of water with a squirt of dish soap, helps repel most munchers.

the powdery mildew can be treated with a sour milk mixed 50:50 with water. spray leaves of plants, underside too, water in as well, powdery mildew lives in the soil. both should be applied for several days until remedied. reapply occasionally.

oh and I have used both effectively, not just talkin' out my ass.

Thanks for the tips. I will tryb these next season.
