I'm still trying to figure out the best way to buy non KYC.
What's yours?

Do you exchange it against stables? Monero?
That's where I'm not sure what to do and how to do it...

Yeah maybe I'm overthinking it but I'm not going forward with it and that's mainly because of that.
Another way is through Bisq. A little less user friendly, but it's easy once you do it a couple times. More liquidity and payment options too. With current tx fees it might be expensive-ish though.
You could also buy Monero p2p from LocalMonero and swap it for Bitcoin using trocador.app (exchange aggregator) or choose an exchange off of kycnot.me
Remember for all these methods the cheapest way to buy is by making your own offer and waiting. Usually on the scale of hours to days depending how competitive your prices are.

If your just looking to swap in and out you can use Houdiniswap
Careful with Houdini Swap. Maybe they're legit, but you have to trust them since they know both sides of the swap.

If you want to turn up the paranoia dial better to do Swap#1 on 'Exchange A' and do Swap#2 on 'Exchange B'
1. Let some time pass before you do Swap#2. Maybe a day or two. The more time the better. (resists timing analysis)
2. Don't swap it all back in one shot, break it up into a couple chunks (resists amount analysis)
3. Get behind Tor or at least a good VPN. Change Tor identity or VPN server for each swap.

Transaction fees on Monero are on average less than a cent
Depending on payment method you can usually source XMR on LocalMonero for around 0%-3% above market by making an offer and waiting + LocalMonero takes 1% from makers
Pretty dang cheap for non-KYC!
All you need is a lightning wallet with some sats for a bond then you lock in the trade based on the payment method you chose (if you create and order) or the payment method listed (if you are filling an order). So you don’t need Monero or stable coins just a lightning wallet with enough sats for a bond. Usually 3% of trade value.
