A question for the people who use NostrGram as their primary desktop client. Once the feature set is complete, would you be willing to pay $3 equivalent a month or $20 equivalent a year to use the client, or would you rather have it be free but have some form of advertising in it. I loathe the idea of putting any kind of advertising in, but it's some point the hardware and time costs will need to be paid for and I'm just thinking through how to handle that and what my users would want the most. All feedback, thoughts and suggestions welcome.

How about a free version with ads and then paid w/o? Just like traditional app monetisation approach?

I would prefer a pay per note model. Seems to maximize incentive alignment.

I would happily pay that. But maybe also a v4v model could work for you?

I would pay 20 a year. Could you do both versions? Plebs get the free version with adds while we browse without them.

Will only use a paid version, ads are not acceptable.

20$ a year. I always prefer to pay and no ads.

I'm not a fan of subscription models. Shouldn't it be possible with lightning for a pas-as-you-go model? Like pay some sats when you want to comment/upvote or submit a post.
