Why should we care about this? It’s like people chasing rare $2 bills and maybe even paying more than nominal value for them right? Some people will always do this but is it something to worry about for those who just care about the monetary instrument?

I don’t think network congestion will be a long term concern as the equilibrium will always balance out somewhere where the trades of these rare Bitcoin are negligible compared to the overall market
