A windows (i know, i know i just cant get used to linux) update has blocked bonjour on my PC.

We hear ya but are only goi:g to give you that ginal push. 🤙 Try Linux Mint, it's a good crossover from windows.

I don't think so, tried that but the PC it runs on whitescreens once or twice a week. Just rebooting it now 👍🏻

Not sure about win11 but on 10 you can see the history of blocked events from Windows Defender dashboard. Find the most recent one, then there will be a button that says "Allow". It will cause an admin UAC prompt to appear then it should be unblocked.

it looks like they are using mdns to sniff for devices on your network using bonjour.

try dual booting if you absolutely must have windows
