it was a pragmatic choice. they were forced to plead guilty. it was a choice between taking a stand and getting a much, much longer sentence.

When you face a judge while looking at decades of prison time, trust me, you will not only beg for mercy, you will snitch on anyone you can. And lots of tough talk for someone too scared to show his face.

If you actively promote your service to criminals and address them publicly, you really shouldn’t be surprised.
