I have tried to move in that direction. Especially since almost losing my daughter in 2020. But I think, to the extent, you can even talk about the "good life", you can only talk about it as an iterative process. Not an absolute state.

Glad your daughter is ok, Mike. I like your views, not always in agreement but it expands my perspectives and I appreciate that. I’ve not seen democracy work as it should. I’ve seen liberal movements change directions so much over the course of history, it’s confusing. Am currently hooked to reading French history and it’s anarchist communism movement (ironically, ppl would not put this two words together now). Looking forward to reading your book and your blog (maybe post on long form on Nostr too when it’s out!)
