Maybe you don’t agree with the ruling government’s policies, but the 1st Amendment is about restricting government overreach to regulate and stifle the press, not about giving the press the ability to do and say and go whatever and wherever they damn well please. There are such things as privacy laws and anti-defamation laws because the press overreaches sometimes too.
