Nostr has a lot more lurkers than meets the eye. This is evident when I share a stream. View count goes up but nobody talks.

This is very relatable. Everything is permanently recorded here and I have a big fear of being seen as stupid. Sometimes my high IQ spits out some very inane commentary. I never like passing inaccurate information. I often hedge my bets and say equivocal opinions when I'm uncertain even when I'm feeling convinced about something on a gut level. I've been wrong about so many things even when I'm directionally correct. It's often a challenge to speak my truth. Eyeballs everywhere get to judge my two sats of input. Can anyone else relate to that?

I’m up to speed on the finance and bitcoin fundamentals part, my next tasks are eventually running a node, adding paid relays here, trying not to throw my cold card out the window, and understanding more about wallets. On chain is all compatible but lightning wallets have to be like type to like type? My brain.
I think fiat fear factor affects more than a few (sorry-not-sorry, I love aliteration). Some feel that they will be found out as anarchistic or some such piffle. We are lucky to be self-employed and unaffected by such restraints. Just my thoughts. I know a lot of lurkers on Facebook that cite this reason.
