Musk is providing instruction on how to limit the reach of ideological enemies on Xitter.
Not being able to chose your own algo already seems outmoded, but the autist in chief has taken that to another level.

I love how I get 50+ new posts on nostr, once I’ve gone through them I get to the top of earlier. Then I stop scrolling as I reach the bottom of new. It’s such a time hack. I can then get on with my day 🫡
When they called for Musk they asked for a benevolent dictator when they should have asked for freedom.
“Put me in charge and trust me bro. I believe in freedom of speech too.”
So it sounds as if the algorithms are attempting to read the will of the people in a democratic way to give douche bags less coverage. This option in a Nostr example might be a more "personalized" (Universe Feed like in Damus) feed.
The part I don't like is that it pretty much makes the algorithm as the gate keeper in a top down way. Nostr seems more organic and free by default.
