The current system (fiat currencies) has too much momentum for people to abandon it overnight. However, as economic pressures mount and people feel the squeeze, whether it’s due to inflation, debt, or loss of trust in institutions, they may seek alternatives.
The key isn’t a sudden shift but a slow, steady trend of adoption as people are driven to explore options. The current system won’t push people away instantly, but its failures may nudge them, bit by bit.
