It just never ends well. I am so sorry for you. At least you are trying to persuade her. I know so many women who have gotten work done. Only one of them looks better than she did, and that is because she was no natural beauty. The procedure softened her edges, and she really was a candidate for it because, as a ballerina, all the stage makeup had been hard on her skin.
Oh totally. I know of one friend who was born with a very curvy nose and she had a procedure and I will admit, she looks better, but I think my mom is beautiful the way she is and I also don’t think age is a defect that needs to be fixed. That being said, she’s a hardheaded woman who is probably gonna do what she wants despite my objections. I’m trying to mentally prepare for the worst

My girlfriend had that same conversation with Momma Duck. Parents have a hard time listening to children about appearance. What would your mom do if you went with her to get your lips painted? By the way, my girlfriend's mom asked my opinion on my birthday. I said, "You could buy Bitcoin for it." Next year, for your birthday, you could buy an inflatable boat with a motor and feed the ducks. People still laugh about that. 🤣

Maybe she just wants to feel beautiful and special. I would suggest spa days or facials. Much more relaxing and rejuvenating. Surgery terrifies me personally. And the stress and scars you could receive from one I think negate the facelift.
Besides I believe every wrinkle is earned and really highlights the uniqueness of the individual. 😊 The fact that society always tries to hide them is unfortunate.
