I found a Chinese restaurant up for sale in Alberta, Canada. I'm thinking of buying it. 69K CAD.

What do you think? Would you come visit?

Catoshi thought the chopsticks were drumsticks and started drumming. I had to tell him those are not for drumming.

If Canada was a nicer place and let me continue to exercise my right to bear arms when I visited, I’d consider it. As it stands, I’m worried I’d get arrested crossing a park to get there.

Restaurants are extremely difficult businesses. They are not profitable for the most part.

Unless you know what you are doing, I would proceed with caution

But Bitcoin with that money instead.

And sit back and relax.

What are you buying? The building? Is it still operating?

This one specifically, The sale is for the building. The business is already gone, they just didn't take down the sign. The equipment is gone so you'd have to buy new equipment.

I would not buy a business, because then you need to lease the building and it cuts into my profits I've seen many of these business same prices 50k or so and then the lease is 3k or so a month.

What are you going to do with it? Keep it as a restaurant?

yes, keep it as a Chinese restaurant since it was a Chinese restaurant already, that means it's a good spot. Rice and noodles are cheap, so we can make lots of profits.

The only thing you need is a good Chinese chef, are you interested? you don't seem Chinese, you have pirate stuff on your profile. Starting a pirate restaurant would be fun too and make lots of money because people would go there to hear the staff talk like a pirate. There's good videos on how to talk like a pirate

I already talk like a pirate. Good luck if you decide to open it. I’ll come up for a dinner. 🍚
