Consider that lucky. I have family members who drove 7 hours (one way) for a 30 minute appointment to get a surgery appointment that normally has wait times of 2+ years— in the same country. I completely agree but you’re extra lucky.
It’s likely more than 40% when you factor in all the other tax.

I don’t know where you go to the vet, but it tends to be $250 or more whenever I have to bring my dog in.
When my kids, my dog or I get sick, we take it easy for a few days & have a few of shots of CDS.
None of us are sick for long.
