Braiins Pool for now.

Not sure if I'll switch but whatever I do I certainly won't be using a KYC pool. That sounds like a fantastic way to defeat the whole fucking purpose of mining at home πŸ˜‚

Isn’t brains pool kyc unless your payout is to bip47 reusable payment code? Brains knows your payout reward addresses?

knowing my payout address I don't consider KYC. As I understood it KYC is explicitly about recording customer name, address, etc. I've not seen any indication of that & haven't given them any data in that regard.

Also is Braiins compatible with BIP47 payment codes!? Because that's awesome if they are and might make me come up with a setup to take advantage of it.

Ok yeah. I'm aware of these trade offs regarding visibility on-chain. Still don't consider that KYC, just a typical (though dangerous) privacy problem while working with bitcoin and the internet in general.

Thanks for the thread though, this might be fun for the podcast and I haven't done a show on privacy issues in a while! πŸ™πŸ»πŸ§‘

I am looking at Luxor - I like Braiins a lot but not finding many blocks these days
